The SOS-dan wants you

I am a relatively new DA member hoping to absorb as much knowledge as I possibly can and give out whatever I can as well. I'm learning and hoping to improve in digital art, traditional coloring, perspective, realism, and media mixing. I spend my additional time doodling excessively, sewing and designing costumes and cosplay, designing web pages and graphics, theatre, and studying musical theory and composition. I'm not doing costumes for our musical, I requested not to (I'm too experienced in sewing, seriously) Instead I'll be working with wires. Woohoo!

:D I decided to submit 3 pieces to VASE this year, design costumes for UIL (Antigone, part of the Oedipus trilogy), and complete 2 detailed pieces of Phantom for personal merriment. All with a musical. Yes I will be burnt out, but I don't mind. I've done this for years (Technician for 3 years, thespian for...I can't count how long) now and can't imagine my life any other way.

Good news, a charity fundraising project that I've been a part of has finally taken off! I'm so happy for the project :> It all goes to funding a future domestic violence shelter for women and children.

Also, [link] (Broadway cares/Actors' Equity fights AIDS) is continuing its season of promotions. I'm hoping to somehow find a way to donate (Same with sick children's trust) It's one of the biggest AIDS fund raising non-profit groups out there, even though AIDS awareness month is over, BC/EFA needs more recognition than just facebook alone!

P.S: Hopefully uploads SOON. I really am disliking old stylized art stuff D:< Lack of time bothers me.
